Golf resort Domaine des Forges (GDdF) is situated in the municipality of Vasles which is in the mid-west of France in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region.

The city of Poitiers is only a thirty minute drive from the golf resort. The beaches of La Rochelle and Île de Ré are approximately a one hour drive away.

You are most welcome to take part in the golf lessons given under the guidance of pro Stewart Cronin from England. You can choose either for private lessons or group lessons on all levels. On the basis of your skills in golf you can obtain your Golf Proficiency Certificate, achieve a handicap or lower your handicap.

Stewart has 17 years' experience in the golf industry. During his professional career he played with golfers on all levels, from beginners to some of the world's best golfers. That experience has resulted in him bringing his own philosophy into practice in his lessons. He takes ample time to evaluate the game together with the participant; the aims and skills of the person concerned are given central place. The mental and emotional aspect also plays an important role. During the lessons he makes use of advanced computer equipment (Dartfish). This software is also used to help European Tour players to improve their skills.

Special 'kids clinics' are organised in the summer months (July and August). These clinics entail 2-hour golf lessons (supervised by a Dutch person) 5 mornings a week. The children are also kept occupied for two hours in the afternoon with sports activities. The 'kids clinics' are intended for children between the ages of 7 and 15.
