Golf resort Domaine des Forges (GDdF) is situated in the municipality of Vasles which is in the mid-west of France in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region.

The city of Poitiers is only a thirty minute drive from the golf resort. The beaches of La Rochelle and Île de Ré are approximately a one hour drive away.

Every Saturday we open the golf school doors for French youngsters aged 6 and upwards, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The lessons are given in groups of (maximum) 10 children (on all levels). Our pro, Stewart Cronin, uses the "DRAPEAUX" programme that involves simple exercises and tests. The aim is to acquaint the children with the fundamentals of the golf sport in a light-hearted manner. They can discover the game, have fun and make headway in learning all about the sport.

The fee for 2011 is € 85*. This fee covers a one-hour lesson per week, the use of materials, practice balls during the lessons, the permit / insurance from the French Federation of Golf and Sport Club membership.
