Golf resort Domaine des Forges (GDdF) is situated in the municipality of Vasles which is in the mid-west of France in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region.

The city of Poitiers is only a thirty minute drive from the golf resort. The beaches of La Rochelle and Île de Ré are approximately a one hour drive away.

Your own house, right next to the golf course!

Many Dutch people and other nationalities have taken up residence here on the domaine over the years. Several of the villas around the golf course belong to Dutch people who use them for their holidays or let them either permanently or periodically. There are still a few villas for sale on this dream location.

Golfresort Domaine des Forges is made up of 4 separate projects. Le Bourg Est, La Veille Vigne, La Vigeliere and the recently (partially) completed Domaine L'Aveneau.

A total of 54 detached villas are being realised on Domaine L'Aveneau. There are two types of villa here: Birdie and Eagle. Phase 1 has now been completed (24 villas, 22 of which have already been sold). The construction of phase 2 still has to be started. The infrastructure for phase 1 (and partly for phase 2) and the central amenities is already finished.

The villas were designed by French architect F. Chabut. His imaginative designs are characterised by the ample incidence of light during the winter months, the spacious rooms, multiple bathrooms and attractive porches. Using his knowledge and experience he has been able to design Domaine L'Aveneau in such a way that it blends in perfectly with the characteristic atmosphere of Poiteau-Charentes. It goes without saying that the villas also have the typical characteristics of French architecture, such as beautifully painted (red, green or blue) shutters and covered patios. The outer walls are finished in light colours, such as sand and terra cotta.

The villas offer optimum living comfort the whole year round thanks to the luxurious mod cons, the perfect insulation and workmanship. These villas are competitively priced, starting at € 218,000 v.o.n. (no transfer costs) ex VAT.

Obviously you buy a villa for your own pleasure, but you can also let it out for part(s) of the year and use the income from the rent to (partly) cover the overhead costs. An additional benefit you gain from letting your villa is that you can reclaim the French TVA (VAT).

There are still a few villas for sale on the La Vieille Vigne project. Veille Vigne comprises a total of 40 villas. All the villas and gardens have now been finished.
